I've decided to stay in BFE for another year.
I'm living as cheaply as possible and trying to get out of debt, and hopefully travel some in the future (and not to jail!!!)

The kid's sentencing is the 6th. I'll let everyone know by email the outcome.

I'm pretty much finished with blogging. I've loved the friends I made.
But with no internet access, no television, and everything miles away (and gas inching towards $4 a gallon) I've just about had enough.

So I'll spend my time drawing, reading, walking...oh yeah, and entertaining BOB.
(I'm in Dallas now, so will stock up on some friends for BOB, or at least a truckload of batteries.)

Oh, and one of my kiddos told me at graduation that I was the "breastest teacher". Yep. That's me. Y'all have seen the pictures to prove it!!!

8 1/2 more school days.

Remember Children of the Corn? I think I'm living in Children of the Gators.
I had a little boy (who's face is pretty maleable anyway) scare the snot out of me.
Not only did his face start shifting (think every alien movie you've seen where the surface of the skin starts contorting) but also turned translucent and I could see veins and other nasty stuff just below the surface.

Texas, with their Bible thumping, gun toting, beer drinking, "we are Texas, don't fuck with us" attitude looks awfully good to me right now!

Was told to update my blog.
Consider it done.
I took myself on a "date" last night. Bought myself a steak, cheescake, booze and a movie.
I'm an expensive date.
Then came home to BOB.
He's getting tired and abused.

Texas is not prepared for Hurricane Jules...scheduled for approach May 23.

FEMA needs to have multiple ambulances standing by. There may be few survivors.

That is...if I don't get myself arrested for killing a kid or two in the next 12 1/2 days.

Surviving

The kid was found guilty. Sentencing is about 2 months away. The judge has the option to sentence as a "youthful offender" (because of his age). If she chooses to do that, things will not be quite so bad. If she does it as an adult, minimum of 10 years.

I just read HB's last scribblings and it's quite obvious he's not from this country. Although the kids in my class appear not to be either. Or perhaps they should be considered "DEEP country".
When I got back I was regaled with stories about the new hogs, rabbits and other "critters" they obtained while I was gone.

Oh, and one of them told me I looked like a clown.

Ramblings from Jules

It's HB typing for Jules.

She's in Florida... or California. To be honest I'm not American so I get confused easily with both states. They're warm and my country visits each state a lot. And something about Walt Disney being down there. My ignorance I guess. You'll have to forgive me since without me, no one will pass on her info ;)!!!

Regardless of my geography problems, she's visiting "the kid" twice now and he's doing good. "He's ready for whatever happens."

Then she asked me to convey
